Vibe is really awesome and it's the perfect location for a college. Right by the Appalachian State campus so if you're there to catch a game or just visiting make sure to stop here. Prices are extremely reasonable for food and beer. The seasoning on the pulled pork sandwiches really what sold me. Was not expecting something so good! Solid beer selection available as well as spirits.
What a great spot! We left another local place due to bad service and checked out the Boone Saloon. The food was great (wings, burgers, sandwiches, etc) and they had a variety of beers on tap to choose from. We will definitely be going back!
Very comfortable atmosphere. Food is so so good. Wings are amazing and the blackened chicken is mouth watering. 10 out of 10 will be back.
Very cool place right downtown. Full bar and game room downstairs. Also big deck outside.very friendly staff, looks like live music would be great with a big stage.
Even though it was a pretty decent crowd, the bartender did a great job. Fast service, accurate orders. The tacos were good, but my child was not impressed with the chicken strops. Great service and atmosphere. Will come again.
I always feel at home in this local bar. The food is consistently good and the drinks are even better! The staff treats you like family. Love me some Boone Saloon.
First time ever at that building. Great Vibe last night. Bouncers where clearly paying attention. Would highly recommend to anyone traveling through. Upstairs was more of an "adult vibe" with live music, downstairs had the pool tables and more of a "college vibe". Everyone on both floors was very easy to get along with.
Friendly staff. Good food. Loads of young folks down stairs, but upstairs is nice.
First time visiting Boone and we stopped here for lunch. There were 3 of us. We ordered chips and queso for an appetizer and the chips are a good quality and the queso was tasty. The side sald looked fresh and crisp and the steak tacos looked delicious. I had the chili and it was the best chili I've had in a long time - hearty and full of flavor and just the right amount of kick! I couldn't finish the bowl, so took home leftovers and I couldn't wait to get home to finish off the leftovers (we live 1.5 hours away)! The waiters (we had 2 for some reason even though it wasn't busy) were very attentive and friendly. I'll definitely be back again!
As a Boone regular, Boone Saloon is always a favorite. The chips and queso were great, the fish sandwich was underwhelming, but the food here is generally quite good. The service was great and it's always a cool place to hang out.
